Mediterranean & Eastern European

Questions.

What type of cuisine does Alesta serve?

Alesta serves Mediterranean and Eastern European food with Turkish, Greek and Balkan dishes on the same menu.

How is Alesta different from other Mediterranean restaurants?

Alesta takes an innovative, modern (and sometimes New American) approach to Mediterranean cooking — unexpected flavor combinations built onto traditional dishes. The Cola-Braised Lamb Shank is finished with gremolata and a mushroom accent, alongside a limited seasonal Cola-Braised Short Rib. Where most Mediterranean menus pair Branzino with rice, Alesta serves it with Fasolata, balancing crispy skin against a tender fillet. Grilled peppers are another seasonal standout.

Which dishes at Alesta are Turkish?

Manti, Iskender, Cabbage Dolma, Atom Mezze and Grape Leaf Dolma are among the dishes connected to Turkish cooking.

Which dishes are Greek?

Saganaki, Spanakopita, Greek Salad and Tzatziki are the clearest Greek references on the menu.

Are vegetarian and gluten-free options available?

Yes. The Lunch and Dinner menus mark vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. Please discuss allergies directly with the restaurant.
