Ugur Akkaya was born in Istanbul and has cooked in restaurants in Istanbul and the United States. He works with Turkish, Greek, Lebanese and Eastern European flavors, using French technique.
He learned to cook in his family. At Alesta, he develops new mezze, including the Sweet Potato Hummus.

Kadir Senel was born in Mersin and has cooked in Istanbul and Hannover. He brings seven years of kitchen experience to Alesta.
His dishes include Branzino, Lamb Shank, Iskender and Kebab. For Kadir, cooking is his calling. In the kitchen, his mind rests.
